Please note:We will be vaccinating people in the 50-64 year old group who do not have health condition in November/ December, if there are sufficient vaccinations available. We will invite patients in this group only after we have vaccinated those who are at the highest risk.
New Addington Group Practices and Headley Drive Surgery are giving you the opportunity to help improve their services and patient experience during a new monthly open surgery.
Practice Manager Nicola Shergold will be available during one day every month at Parkway Health Centre for 15 minute pre-bookable slots, where you will be able to discuss any issues you may have and offer suggestions on how we can improve our services and the overall patient experience.

The GP Hubs in Croydon will be hosting a Health & Wellness Open Day for all members of the public on Saturday 15 September 2018 from 10.00am-3.00pm in the Centrale Shopping Centre, just outside Debenhams. See poster below.
The event aims to raise awareness about and allow patients to experience a number of local health and social care service providers accessible through the Croydon GP Hubs and directly by residents of Croydon.
Visitors will be treated to FREE refreshments and will have the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Bernadette Khan, the Shadow Deputy for Families Heath & Social Care, Margaret Bird, and members of our team across our Croydon GP Hubs.
The following local services and people are confirmed:
Mencap, a charity that represents the interests of people with learning disabilities, their families and carers within the London Borough of Croydon.
Croydon IAPT, representing the interests of people with learning disabilities within the Croydon borough.
Croydon MIND, a non-profit organisation working to promote good mental health for people living in Croydon.
The London Ambulance Service, the busiest emergency ambulance service in the UK, serving more than eight million people who live and work in the London area.
Croydon Vision, who provide a wide range of services to help those who are blind or partially sighted to live as independent, confident and fulfilled lives as possible.
Amber Crisis Pregnancy Centre, who support women and their partners, in the South London area, coping with a range of pregnancy related crises.
Margaret Bird, the Shadow Deputy for Families Heath & Social Care and a member of the Health & Wellbeing Board for Croydon Council.
A number of other services will also be present for the whole family to benefit from.
GP Hub Parkway, GP Hub Purley and GP Hub Central Croydon provide extended and urgent access to GP services 365 days a year, from three locations for all residents of Croydon, and have been delivering this service since 2016.

Dear Patients,
There is a national telephony issue affecting over 200 GP surgeries today, this is directly affecting New Addington Group Practices (Headly Drive Surgery, Parkway Health Centre and Fieldway Medical Centre).
Thanks for your patience whilst we continue to work with our provider to get this fixed as soon as possible, and we’ll keep you updated here and on our Twitter channel.
If you need more urgent help, please either email your practice (see below) or you can call 111 for any issues that cannot wait to see or speak to your GP. For medical emergencies, dial 999. Thank you.
Further to this work, our clinical systems are now merging to improve our operations. We want to reassure you that there will be no changes to the way in which we deliver care to you, this is simply to improve our operations.
If you are registered for Online Patient Services (Patient Access) please note that the current service will be offline from Friday 19 January until Monday 22 January 2018. Usual service will resume on Tuesday 23 January 2018.

GP Hub Parkway, GP Hub Purley and GP Hub Central Croydon all hosted a successful Health & Wellness Open Day for all members of the public on Thursday the 2nd of November 2017. See pictures from the event below.
The event was well attended, mixed with members of the general public, registered patients, local healthcare providers and surgery staff. Attendees had the opportunity to meet with the Practice Manager, together with new and long standing staff members of the practice. The event helped to raise awareness about a number of local healthcare service providers, all of which are accessible through the surgery for patients and residents of Croydon. Patients also had access to refreshments and free face-painting for our younger visitors.
The event provided a great platform for local healthcare services to engage with one another, promoting a holistic and community based approach to healthcare.
